THIS is the 42nd edition of Europe’s oldest breeze-up auction, first held in 1977, and the catalogue contains 207 attractive lots (55 more than last year), to be offered by Goffs UK at their new sales complex. These two-year-olds will be sold on Tuesday, April 10th, starting at 10am, after all of them have breezed at Doncaster Racecourse on the Monday.

Henry Beeby, the managing director, has reminded buyers that the success rate for breeze-up graduates from Doncaster has been better than its rivals in both 2016 and 2017. High-class performers sold at this auction include Group 1 stars Quiet Reflection, My Dream Boat, Dream Ahead, Paco Boy, Total Gallery and Speciosa.

Goffs UK have two-year-olds in their catalogue by many of the leading sires, notably Dark Angel, Holy Roman Emperor, Kodiac, Kyllachy, Lope De Vega, Pivotal, Showcasing, Society Rock, Tamayuz and Zoffany, also by some American stars including Distorted Humor, Elusive Quality, Hard Spun and Scat Daddy.
