IRELAND’S Bertram Allen has climbed even higher in the latest Longines World show jumping rankings, moving up one place to No.6 in the latest edition issued by the FEI today (Thursday)

The Wexford rider enjoyed an incredible end to the month of November, winning three brand new cars at a four-star show in Sweden and further boosting his world ranking points tally.

Co Down’s Conor Swail also made a big move this month, he has jumped six places to No. 31, one place behind Tipperary’s Denis Lynch who dropped six places. Darragh Kenny drops five places to 59, while Cian O’Connor has moved up three places to 66. Ireland’s remaining riders in the top 100 are Billy Twomey at No. 91 and Shane Sweetnam at 93.

Britain’s Scott Brash retains his position as the Worlds No.1 rider, with American Kent Farrington at No.2 and Frenchwoman Penelope Leprevost at No.3.
