ADVERTORIAL: Immun-Ocean - From Conception to Competition
on 16 November 2018
The Immun-Ocean range covers all your horses' needs

IMMUN-Ocean products are designed to keep horses healthy throughout their life. Alan Robertson is the manufacturer of Immun-Ocean products and his experience in the sport horse breeding sector is a great asset, as Alan is passionate about producing healthy foals for whatever discipline they are destined for.

CEO of KSB Equine, the worldwide distributor for Immun-Ocean, Kim Smith-Bingham’s experience is based around racing and hunting. He has a firm belief that in the complex jigsaw of training horses the starting piece must be a healthy horse. Marketing manager Sarah Aldous evented to a high level and brings this experience and understanding to the table.

Immun-Ocean is made up of a complexed composition of 12 ingredients using 100% hand harvested seaweed as its base, which is sustainably hand-harvested from the coast of Donegal, with an extended slow drying period. Hence the algae retains its bioactivity and all the valuable nutrients naturally found in the fresh product. Excess iodine is extracted to ensure that correct daily dietary levels for the average horse are maintained.

The company’s ethos is eco friendly, working with the environment, helping its customers to produce the healthiest and happiest horses in all disciplines.

Immun-Ocean is made in small fresh batches with no longer than three months from harvesting to application ensuring maximum value of nutritional uptake.

Breeders Blend is a macro algae blend of Ascophyllum Nodosum and Lithothamnium with added flax oil giving improved conception rates, healthy embryo development, healthy foals at birth and improved milk quality.

Thanks to organically high levels of calcium and magnesium and Omega 3, Start Right plays a key role in healthy development, healthy joints and healthy gut environment.

Healthy Horses win races and perform to the best of their ability. Gastro Race developed specifically for the health of the racehorse, the Ascophyllum is good for a healthy immune system, Omega 3 and natural MSM for joints and magnesium for muscles and healthy attitude.

The Lithothamnium is a probiotic for healthy gut flora as well helping to line the hind gut to prevent ulcers.

Pro-Globin is a powerful mix of amino acid, natural iron and protein, with vitamin B12 aiding symptoms of fatigue, muscle ache, muscle weakness, joint pain and poor appetite. It is naturally low in cobalt.

These unique macro algae supplements help to fill the needs created by pressures put on horses today, both through their diet and by our demands for top performance. Immun-Ocean products have been tested by LCH Laboratories in Paris to make sure that they don’t contravene statutory regulations.

“We have had our foals and yearlings on Start Right and Gastro for the last two years and they look well, have a calm attitude and have been selling well. We are so pleased with the results that we have seen with Immun-Ocean that we have also started our mares on Breeders Blend” – Helen Jones, Ballyhimikin Stud, consignors of the top two lots in Book 3 of the Yearling Sales at Tattersalls Newmarket this year
