AT the request of the Irish Racehorse Trainers Association, Horse Racing Ireland (HRI) has announced that there will be an additional race at Dundalk on Friday December 22nd to form an eight-race card. This race will be a maiden race for two-year-olds only over five furlongs and will close for entries with the rest of the Dundalk meeting by 12 noon on Monday December 18th with declarations to run to be made by 10am on Thursday December 21st.

The details are as follows:

345H The Irish Stallion Farms EBF Maiden of €15,000 (Plus 10 Race) (Generously sponsored by the Irish EBF (€3,000)) of which the second will receive €3,000, the third €1,500, the fourth €750 and the fifth €375.

For two-year-old only, maidens at starting which are EBF eligible, about five furlongs. €105 to enter, €30 extra if declared to run. Weights: 9st 5lb. Fillies are allowed 5lb.

The time of the first race on this day will now be 4.30pm.
