Alex Ott Appeal

A FUN ride in aid of the Alex Ott Appeal will be held on Sunday, November 22nd from the Bridge Bar, Ballyhea. This is off the main Charleville - Buttevant road and will be signposted on the day. The ride is leaving 12 noon. Held over top jumping country, a great day is assured. There will be options available for those who wish to skip some or all so it is suitable for all levels. Horses are €50 and ponies are €30 and for every pony from the same family will be an additional €20.

Lynch wins vote

TIPPEARY show jumper Denis Lynch was voted the Gain Star of the Month winner for September by readers of The Irish Field. Voting is open online for the October nominees.

THERE was much sadness at the news that well known horse dealer and breeder, Pat Caraher, from Ballybay, Co Monaghan, passed away suddenly last weekend.
