TEAGASC has issued a last call for those interested in attending two upcoming conformation assessment evenings next week.

Conformation and athleticism assessment evenings will be held on the farms of Captain David O Brien in Athlone, Co Westmeath and Tiernan Gill in Ballina, Co Mayo. These evenings provide opportunity to discuss with both horsemen the qualities they look for and what they believe are the ‘nuts and bolts’ required to perform well in today’s competition arenas and that are sought after by customers. They will be putting their own horses under the microscope for scrutiny and discussion. Places are limited to ensure that those attending have every opportunity to get involved in the conversation. The fee to attend is €20. Both events run from 7pm-9pm. Booking must be made in advance online. The meeting at David’s farm is on Tuesday, September 8th and with Tiernan, is on Thursday, September 10th.
