12.20 IRISH STALLION FARMS EBF MAIDEN 6F
Clashaniska is building on two creditable efforts in defeat. He began his career with a decent fourth to Breaking Story in a 7f Curragh maiden in August. He then ran well but was beaten just over 2l by the subsequently stakes-placed Eclipse Storm in a maiden over this course and distance in September.
A similar showing here could enable him to see off the 80-rated National Guard who looked as though he would appreciate a return to this trip when a strong-finishing third in a 5f Dundalk nursery last week. Erich Bloch also commands respect after the filling the runner-up spot on his last three outings.
SELECTION: CLASHANISKA

12.50 CONGRATS TO THE NAAS MINOR FOOTBALL CHAMPIONS 2018 HANDICAP 5F
The progressive Tide Of Time can bring up a hat-trick. He has gone up 21lbs in the weights for two recent victories at Navan but there could easily be more to come from him. On both occasions he has won with a degree of authority and he certainly had more to spare than last week’s ½l verdict over Amazing One would suggest.
Enter The Red could give him most to do and his chances would be improved that any rain that falls over the weekend. On his last start he won a 5f handicap at Navan and a 3lb rise in the weights for that head triumph over Amanaat doesn’t look excessive.
SELECTION: TIDE OF TIME

1.20 IRISH STALLION FARMS EBF MAIDEN 1M
Turnberry Isle should take beating after an unlucky defeat at Leopardstown last week. After beginning his career with a respectable fifth to Millswyn he lost out by a nose in a 7f Leopardstown maiden last week. He will be quite at home stepping up to a mile and he can see off his stablemate Gentile Bellini whose career began with a solid fourth to Rakan in a 1m Leopardstown maiden two weeks ago. Gentile Bellini has a poor draw to overcome.
Interesting newcomers include Motawaazy, who is the son of Kingman and a Moyglare Stakes runner-up who has produced a trio of useful winners.
SELECTION: TURNBERRY ISLE
Next best: Gentile Bellini
1.55 MCAULEY PLACE NURSERY 1M
A chance is taken on Crimson King who has shaped up quite nicely on a couple of his runs and looks to have a realistic chance of making his mark in a nursery off an initial rating of 73. This son of Kingman showed plenty of promise to finish fourth to Mount Everest in a 1m Curragh maiden on his second start and there was also merit to his sixth place effort behind Circus Maximus in a Gowran maiden in September.
He can deal with Ferretti who is trying this trip for the first time and gave the impression that would enjoy tackling 7f when coming home well to get to within ½l of stablemate San Andreas in a maiden here a fortnight ago. The Birdcatcher runner-up Dandys Ocean is also respected despite having to contend with the burden of top weight.
SELECTION: CRIMSON KING
Next best: Ferretti
2.30 BET AT TOALS.COM HANDICAP 1M 2F
Art Of America is aiming for a hat-trick. He won by a short-head in a Gowran handicap on his penultimate outing and was a commanding 4l-winner at the same track last week. He is now a further 12lbs higher but this is partly negated by his rider’s claim.
He is preferred to Roccia Bella who followed up an encouraging victory in a Gowran handicap with a ½l second to the useful Bone Fide in quite a useful handicap at Gowran last week. Vocal Music might reverse Monday’s form with Canary Row as she is 3lbs better off and this trip may suit her better.
SELECTION: ART OF AMERICA
Next best: Roccia Bella
3.00 DARAGH FITZPATRICK & COLM WHITE LOCAL BOOMAKERS NOVEMBER HANDICAP 1M 6F
He has a terrible draw, but Davids Charm is worth taking a chance on. The classy jumper followed up a Gowran maiden with an excellent effort in last month’s Irish Cesarewitch where he was beaten 1¼l into second by Brazos. A 3lb rise in the weights for that display isn’t excessive and he is open to more progress in this sphere. It is a major concern that he is drawn widest of all, but he might be able to overcome this.
The English Cesarewitch second Uradel might be his biggest danger. He is 21lbs higher than when winning a premier handicap at the Galway Festival but is keeping pace with his rise up the ratings.
Stratum is another likely contender amongst Willie Mullins’ 10 runners. The likes of Brazos and Perfect Tapatino could challenge strongly.
SELECTION: DAVIDS CHARM
Next best: Uradel
3.35 J F DUNNE INSURANCES MAIDEN 1M 3F
Hazel Bay isn’t one to oppose although it is a concern that she hasn’t run since April. She began her career with a second in the Listed Salsabil Stakes over 1m 2f at Navan where she was beaten 2½l by Mary Tudor.
The strength of that form is also highlighted by the efforts of those that finished behind Hazel Bay as the Dermot Weld inmate beat five subsequent stakes winners that day. She is preferred to Black Noah who progressed from an encouraging first run to finish third to Aircraft Carrier in a 1m4f maiden at Gowran last month.
SELECTION: HAZEL BAY
Next best: Black Noah
4.05 FINALE STAKES (LISTED) 1M 4F
Unable to produce his best in South Korea in September, Riven Light can bounce back to form. The step up to 1m4f isn’t a major concern for this winning hurdler who produced one of the outstanding Irish handicap performances of recent years when he came back from serious injury to win this year’s Galway Mile off a mark of 108. Pattern races should hold no fears for Riven Light and he can deal with the threat posed by Mustajeer who ran a terrific race under a big weight to finish fourth in the Ebor Handicap at York.
SELECTION: RIVEN LIGHT
Next best: Mustajeer
