WILLIE Mullins has decided to by pass the International Jumps Weekend this year so there are no Irish runners and just three from England.

Paul Nicholls has booked Vincent Cheminaud for Zarkandar who has not been out since taking third place behind Gemix in the Grande Course de Haies d’Auteuil last June.

He runs in the Grade 1 Grand Prix d’Automne where Francophile Nick Williams is going for a back-to-back double with the former French-trained Reve De Sivola who will be ridden by James Reverley. The English challengers both have a good chance of taking place money but it will be extremely difficult to take the winning purse of €166,500 off Gemix who as usual will be partnered by David Cottin.

The main race tomorrow is the Grade 1 Prix La Haye Jousselin and this should go for the second year running to Shannon Rock who is partly-owned by Madame Henri Devin (nee Feeney).

Jean-Paul Gallorini trains the eight-year-old and he will also saddle Princesse Kap who also is expected to take a hand in the finish. Williams and Reveley will be hoping that Abracadabra Sivola can take a share of the money in the Grade 1 Prix Maurice Gillois. He won a hurdle at Haydock Park but was not foot perfect in a chase for the first time at Auteuil in September.

This should go to the Guillaume Macaire-trained Geluroni even though he fell last time out. The Grade 1 Prix Cambaceres looks at the mercy of Bonito Du Berlais who has won his last four races for Arnaud Chaillie-Chaillie.
