Gowran Park's biggest raceday of the year is set to go ahead on Thursday following a course inspection on Wednesday afternoon.
Heavy rain in the area prompted officials to call an inspection for 4.30pm on Wednesday but the track was found to be raceable.
Paddy Graffin, IHRB clerk of the course, said: “I am pleased to say the track passed its inspection and the ground remains heavy. Now we do have the potential for up to 5ml of rain through tonight and potentially 3ml through tomorrow."
