WHAT a sound idea - to have a good lunch and some good craic while raising much needed funds. The funds will be for the on-going support of Robbie McNamara, who is paralysed from the waist down after a fall, and the Killarney Supporters Club want to assist with his recuperation.

The current British champion jockeys, A.P. McCoy and Richard Hughes, are joining the party and will be on hand for a question and answer session. The lunch is next Friday, August 21st at the Dromhall Hotel, Killarney at 1pm and finishing at 2.30pm which leaves you plenty of time to get to Killarney for the first race at 4.45pm. A bus will be on hand for transport so you can relax on that front.
