ITBA seminar
THE ITBA will host a national seminar in the Hotel Minella, Clonmel, on Friday, February 3rd. Starting at 3pm, the first session will cover ‘Modern day bloodstock industry requirement’ and the evening session will ask ‘What does the future hold for the Irish bloodstock industry?’. A full preview will appear in The Irish Field in due course.
Jezki comeback
JEZKI is set to make his long-awaited return to action at Navan next Saturday. Jessica Harrington’s 2014 Champion Hurdle hero has not been seen in competitive action since beating old foe Hurricane Fly at the 2015 Punchestown Festival.
The J.P. McManus-owned nine-year-old had been pencilled in for a potential comeback in the Irish Champion Hurdle at Leopardstown, however, he will instead contest a conditions hurdle before a potential return to Cheltenham in March for a tilt at the newly-named Sun Bets Stayers’ Hurdle.
Harrington said: He did a bot (of word) after racing at Naas on Sunday and we are happy enough with him.”
