THE Irish Thoroughbred Breeders’ Association will stage the first of its Open Information evenings on behalf of the Alliance For Racing & Breeding on Wednesday, April 19th at the Keadeen Hotel, Newbridge at 7pm.
The evening will discuss items such as employment law (with special emphasis on impending WRC inspections and including a presentation from IBEC), health and safety, the implications of Brexit on the industry, and an update on the work of the ITBA.
Amber Byrne, Horse Racing Ireland’s New Owner Recruitment manager, will also highlight her future plans for ownership, leasing and syndicates.
ITBA chief executive Shane O’Dwyer expects a large turnout for the event, which will be followed by another in Fermoy on May 3rd.
