Her dam is a half-sister to the dual Group 1-placed stakes winner Dash To The Top (by Montjeu) and her third dam is the Group 1 star Milligram (by Mill Reef).

  • Vazirabad made it seven in a row with victory in the Group 2 Prix Vicomtesse Vigier over 15 and a half furlongs at Saint-Cloud. It is a fifth pattern success for the Aga Khan's homebred and Group 1-winning son of Haras du Logis stallion Manduro (by Monsun). The gelding is trained by Alain de Royer-Dupre, he is a half-brother to the pattern-placed stakes winner Visoriyna (by Dansili) and his dam, Visorama (by Linamix), is a Group 3-winning half-sister to the Group 1 Prix de la Foret scorer Varenar (by Rock Of Gibraltar).

  • Nepal won the Group 2 Oaks d'Italia over 11 furlongs at San Siro, a first pattern success for the daughter of Gestut Rottgen stallion Kallisto (by Sternkonig). She is trained in Germany by Dr Andreas Bolte, she was bred there by Marc Rühl, and she cost just €5,500 as a yearling at the BBAG October Mixed Sale. She is the first foal out of Nassau (by Soldier Hollow) and her grandam, Naomia (by Monsun), is a stakes-winning daughter of 1999 Group 1 Oaks d'Italia heroine Nagoya (by Goofalik).

  • Dylan Mouth won the Group 2 Gran Premio di Milano over 12 furlongs at San Siro on his first start for Marco Botti, brother of the classic winner and three-times Group 1 star's former trainer Stefano Botti. The five-year-old entire is a son of Castle Hyde Stud stallion Dylan Thomas (by Danehill), he is out of Cottonmouth (by Noverre) and he was bred by Azienda Agricola Mariano. His dam is a 10-furlong Group 3 scorer whose siblings include the Grade 1-winning hurdler Jumbo Rio (by Captain Rio), and she represents a distant branch of the family of Shergar (by Great Nephew).

  • Iquitos won the Group 2 Grosser Preis der Badischen Wirtschaft over 11 furlongs at Baden-Baden, a first pattern success for the four-year-old son of Gestut Harzburg stallion Adlerflug (by In The Wings). He was bred by Dr Erika Buhmann, he is trained by Hans-Jurgen Groschel, and he is the first foal out of Irika (by Areion), who is a full-sister to the stakes-placed Inanya.

  • Only Mine sprang a 16/1 surprise in the Group 3 Bar One Racing Lacken Stakes over six furlongs at Naas, a second blacktype success for the first-crop daughter of Derby hero and Coolmore Stud stallion Pour Moi (by Montjeu) and a first pattern winner for her sire. The Joseph Murphy-trained three-year-old was bred by the late Marguerite Weld, she is out of listed scorer Truly Mine (by Rock Of Gibraltar), and she represents the prolific blacktype family of the classic star and influential broodmare Arctique Royale (by Royal And Regal).

  • Highlands Queen extended the good recent run enjoyed by Newsells Park Stud stallion Mount Nelson (by Rock Of Gibraltar) when winning the Group 3 Prix Cleopatre over 10 and a half furlongs at Saint-Cloud. The Yohann Gourraud-trained three-year-old was bred by S.C.E.A. Domaine De L'Argos, she is out of Queen Of Poland (by Polish Precedent), and her grandam, Queen Of Persia (by Persian Bold), is a pattern-placed half-sister to the Kalahari King (by Kahyasi), a stakes winner on the flat before going on to Grade 1 success over fences.

  • Shining Emerald notched up his third pattern race victory when taking the Group 3 Silberne Peitsche over six furlongs at Baden-Baden. The five-year-old son of Rathasker Stud stallion Clodovil (by Danehill) is trained by Andreas Wohler, he was bred by Rabbah Bloodstock Ltd, and he is out of Janayen (by Zafonic), a winning daughter of triple middle-distance listed scorer Saafeya (by Sadler's Wells).

  • Kaspersky won the Group 3 Premio Carlo Vittadini over a mile at San Siro, third pattern victory for the prolific blacktype-winning son of Coolmore Stud stallion Footstepsinthesand (by Giant's Causeway). Allevamento La Nuova Sbarra's homebred five-year-old is trained by Endo Botti and he is the best of four blacktype horses out of Croanda (by Grand Lodge). His dam's siblings include the Group 3 Premio Regina Elena (Italian 1000 Guineas) runner-up Crosna (by Martino Alonso).

  • Anamba made it two wins from three starts when successful in the Listed Owenstown Stud Stakes over seven furlongs at Naas. The Darley-bred three-year-old is trained by Michael Halford, she is a daughter of Kildangan Stud stallion Shamardal (by Giant's Causeway), and her only defeat to date is her half-length second to Coolmore in the Group 3 C L & M F Weld Park Stakes at the Curragh last year. She is out of the Australian 10 furlong Group 1 scorer Anamato (by Redoute's Choice). Her grandam, Voltage (by Whiskey Road), is a half-sister to the dam of Group 1 South African Derby winner Wylie Hall (by Redoute's Choice) and Hong Kong Grade 1 scorer Absolute Champion (by Marauding).

  • Peace Envoy gave Coolmore Stud's classic winner and juvenile Group 1 star Power (by Oasis Dream) his first stakes winner when winning the Listed Coolmore War Command Rochestown (C&G) Stakes over six furlongs at Naas. The Aidan O'Brien-trained juvenile was bred by Team Hogdala A.B., this was his second win from three starts, he is out of 10-furlong scorer Hoh My Darling (by Dansili) and he is in bred 4x4 to Danzig (by Northern Dancer). He comes from a branch of the family of the great racehorse and broodmare Dahlia (by Vaguely Noble).

  • Cuff looks like a potentially top-class filly following her victory in the Listed Coolmore Stud European Breeders Fund Fillies' Sprint Stakes over six furlongs at Naas. The Aiden O'Brien-trained juvenile is a daughter of prolific champion sire Galileo (by Sadler's Wells), she was bred by the Massarra Syndicate, and she is out of Invincible Spirit's (by Green Desert) stakes-winning half-sister Massarra (by Danehill). That makes her a full-sister to Group 3 scorer Wonderfully, to ill-fated Group 1-placed colt Mars, and a half-sister to Group 1 Gran Criterium winner Nayarra (by Cape Cross).

  • Quiet Reflection was an impressive winner of the Group 2 188Bet Sandy Lane Stakes over six furlongs at Haydock, a fifth win from six starts for the Karl Burke-trained three-year-old and her third pattern success. The exciting three-year-old was bred by Springcombe Park Stud, she is a second-crop daughter of Whitsbury Manor Stud stallion Showcasing (by Oasis Dream) and she is out of My Delirium (by Haafhd), a winning daughter of listed scorer Clare Hills (by Orpen).

  • Home Of The Brave won the Group 3 Timeform Jury Stakes (registered as the John of Gaunt Stakes) over seven furlongs at Haydock, a third blacktype success for the first-crop son of Coolmore Stud shuttle sire Starspangledbanner (by Choisir). The Hugo Palmer-trained four-year-old was bred by Ecurie du Grand Chene, he is out of Blissful Beat (by Beat Hollow) and his dam is an unraced half-sister to the pattern scorers Suggestive (by Reprimand) and Rashbag (by Reprimand).

  • Group 1-placed dual stakes winner Journey won the Group 3 188Bet.co.uk Stakes (registered as the Pinnacle Stakes) over 12 furlongs at Haydock. George Strawbridge's homebred four-year-old is trained by John Gosden, she is a daughter of outstanding Dalham Hall Stud stallion Dubawi (by Dubai Millennium) and she is out of Group 1 Prix Royal-Oak heroine Montare (by Montjeu).

  • Wai Key Star advertised his classic potential with victory in the Group 3 Ittlingen Derby Trial over 10 furlongs at Baden-Baden. The son of Gestut Auenquelle stallion Soldier Hollow (by in The Wings) was bred by Gestut Park Wiedingen and he is trained by Andreas Wohler. He is a half-brother to the pattern-placed multiple winner Wheredreamsare (by Monsun) and his dam, Wakytara (by Danehill), is a winning half-sister to Group 1 scorer Waky Nao (by Alzao).

  • Sagaroi won the Listed 160th Derby du Midi over 12 furlongs at Bordeaux Le Bouscat, a first blacktype success for the son of Darley Japan's classic sire King's Best (by Kingmambo). The Didier Guillemin-trained three-year-old was bred by Christopher Mahoney, he is a half-brother to several winners and his winning dam, Saga D'Ouilly (by Linamix), is a full-sister to the Group 1 Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe scorer Sagamix.

  • Shutterbug became the sixth flat stakes winner for Beeches Stud stallion Soldier Of Fortune (by Galileo) when easily winning the Listed 94th Grand Prix de Bordeaux over nine and a half furlongs at Bordeaux Le Bouscat. The four-year-old is trained by Michael Figge, he was bred by Antoine Fontaine, and he is a half-brother to Group 2-placed Anahita (by Turtle Bowl) and stakes-placed Lakalas (by Turtle Bowl). His winning dam, Nazlia (by Polish Precedent), comes from the family of Group 1 Prix du Jockey-Club (French Derby) scorer Natroun (by Akarad).

  • Tickle Me Blue won the Listed Kronimus Diana-Trial over nine furlongs at Baden-Baden. Gestut Gorlsdorf's homebred three-year-old is trained by Markus Klug, she is a daughter of Dalham Hall Stud stallion Iffraaj (by Zafonic) and she is out of Tickle Me Pink (by Groom Dancer). Her dam is an unraced half-sister to Irresistible (by Cadeaux Genereux), the stakes-winning dam of Group 1-placed pattern scorer Infallible (by Pivotal) and grandam of Group 1 winner and Cheveley Park Stud stallion Garswood (by Dutch Art).

  • Royal Solitaire completed a blacktype treble when taking the Group 2 Badener Meile, adding to the pair of listed contests won earlier in the season. The Peter Schiergen-trained four-year-old is a daughter of Kildangan Stud stallion Shamardal (by Giant's Causeway) and she was bred by the partnership of Janus Bloodstock Inc and Stilvi Compania Financiera Sa. She is out of the 12 furlong stakes winner Reverie Solitaire (by Nashwan), that mare's siblings include Group 3 scorer Queen's Best (by King's Best). The grandam of Royal Solitaire is Cloud Castle (by In The Wings), the Group 1-placed pattern-winning half-sister to Group 1 stars Luso (by Salse) and Warrsan (by Caerleon).

  • Pallasator won the Group 3 BetVictor Henry II Stakes over two miles, 78 yards at Sandown, a second pattern success for the seven-year-old son of Haras Du Quesnay stallion Motivator (by Montjeu). The gelding is trained by Sir Mark Prescott, he was bred by Newsells Park Stud and he is out of the Group 1-placed pattern scorer Ela Athena (by Ezzoud). That makes him a half-brother to the listed-placed pair Alphonsus (by Invincible Spirit) and Elas Diamond (by Danehill Dancer).

  • Time Test narrowly beat Western Hymn to take the Group 3 BetVictor Brigadier Gerard Stakes over 10 furlongs at Sandown. The four-year-old son of Dalham Hall Stud stallion Dubawi (by Dubai Millennium) is owned and bred by Khalid Abdullah, he is trained by Roger Charlton, and he is out of the Group 1 scorer Passage Of Time (by Dansili). His dam is a full-sister to the Group 2 winner Father Time and a half-sister to mile Group 1 winner Timepiece (by Zamindar).

  • Global Applause won the Listed BetVictor Million Pound Goal National Stakes over five furlongs at Sandown, thereby making Cheveley Park Stud's Group 1-winning sprinter Mayson (by Invincible Spirit) the first freshman sire of 2016 to get a stakes winner. The Ed Dunlop-trained colt was bred by Robin and Scarlett Knipe, he is a 78,000gns graduate of the Tattersalls October Yearling Sale, and he is out of Crown (by Royal Applause), a half-sister to Group 2-placed Cochabamba (by Hurricane Run).

  • Zonderland, who was sixth in the Group 1 2000 Guineas on his previous start, won the Listed Heron Stakes over a mile at Sandown. Cheveley Park Stud's homebred chesnut is trained by Clive Cox, he is a son of their stallion Dutch Art (by Medicean), and he is out of Barynya (by Pivotal), a daughter of the classic and prolific Group 1 star Russian Rhythm (by Kingmambo).

  • A Shin Erwin won the Listed Prix de Montretout over a mile at Maisons-Laffitte. The five-year-old son of Kildangan Stud stallion Shamardal (by Giant's Causeway) was bred by K K Eishindo and he is trained in Japan by Hidemasa Nakao. He is a half-brother to the middle-distance stakes winner Lateran Accord (by Rock Of Gibraltar) and he is out of La Ina (by Monsun). That mile listed scorer was only beaten by a head when second in the Group 1 Preis der Diana (German Oaks) and she was also runner-up in the Group 2 Henkel-Rennen (German 1000 Guineas).

  • A Shin Hikari put up a hugely impressive performance to beat Dariyan by 10 lengths in the Group 1 Prix d'Ispahan over nine furlongs at Chantilly. The five-year-old entire is trained in Japan by Masanori Sakaguchi, he was bred by K K Eishindo, and he is out of Catalina (by Storm Cat), a multiple winning half-sister to Grade 1 Santa Anita Handicap scorer Sir Beaufort (by Pleasant Colony). His sire is the brilliant racehorse and outstanding Shadai Stallion Station horse Deep Impact (by Sunday Silence).

  • Talismanic won the Listed Prix de l'Avre over 12 furlongs at Saint-Cloud, a first blacktype success for the Darley-bred son of Jonabell Farm stallion Medaglia D'Oro (by El Prado). The Andre Fabre-trained three-year-old is one of several winners out of the mile Grade 3 scorer Magic Mission (by Machiavellian), and his pattern-winning third dam Capo Di Monte (by Final Straw) is a half-sister to Wind In Her Hair (by Alzao), the classic-placed Group 1-winning dam of Deep Impact (by Sunday Silence).

  • Lanwades Stud stallion Archipenko (by Kingmambo) got his second stakes winning in four days when Time Warp came home a three-length winner of the Listed Prix de Pontarme over a mile at Saint-Cloud. The three-year-old is trained by Sir Mark Prescott, he was bred by Kirsten Rausing, and this is his second blacktype success among five consecutive wins. He is the first foal out of Here To Eternity (by Stormy Atlantic), who is out of mile stakes winner Heat Of The Night (by Lear Fan), and the next dam is Brazilian Grade 3 scorer Hot Thong (by Jarraar).

  • The Tin Man, who was fourth in last year's Group 1 Qipco British Champions Sprint Stakes at Ascot, got his season off to a perfect start with a two-length victory in the Listed Weatherbys Private Bank Leisure Stakes over six furlongs at Windsor. The four-year-old is trained by James Fanshawe, he was bred by Elizabeth Grundy, and he is a gelded first-crop son of Group 1 sprint star and Newsells Park Stud stallion Equiano (by Acclamation). The 80,000gns Tattersalls October Yearling Sale graduate is out of Persario (by Bishop Of Cashel) and that makes him a half-brother to the Group 2-winning sprinter Deacon Blues (by Compton Place).
