THE Goffs Yorton Sale returns next month following a one year break, with 37 lots due to be sold at Yorton Farm in Welshpool, Wales, on Thursday, September 4th. Redemption Day is one of two Grade 1 winners sold at previous renewals and his Golden Horn half-sister is due to follow in his footsteps at Yorton.
Other well-related lots catalogued include a Vadamos half-brother to dual listed winner and Grade 1 performer Thunder Rock. The impressive sire profile also features Blue Bresil, Doctor Dino, Jukebox Jury, Nathaniel and Walk In The Park.
Upon publishing the catalogue, Yorton Farm Stud owner David Futter commented: “We are delighted to bring back the Yorton Sale after a year away and look forward to working again with Goffs to welcome everyone to Yorton. This sale has had a wonderful run of results, headlined by two Grade 1 winners, as well as 10 blacktype performers, from its 66 winners to date. It has proven its ability to produce horses of the highest calibre which have won at some of the best meetings the sport has to offer.
“We started this sale with the hope of getting NH horses into work earlier, something that has been so successful in France, and to now see the UK and Ireland producing racing programmes for NH three-year-old is a real win for what we are offering. The Yorton Sale remains the only dedicated NH two-year-old sale in the UK and Ireland and we have another quality catalogue of horses to offer.”
