GOFFS UK have pushed the British NH Breeders’ Showcase back to the later date of December 3rd, with 117 lots catalogued for the sale’s fourth renewal.

Foals account for the majority of offerings, complimented by 15 youngstock and 11 mares, with 16 lots from the dispersal of acclaimed NH breeder Little Lodge Farm.

While this sale showcases the best of British, the catalogue features numerous Irish and French sires, including Goliath Du Berlais, Harzand, Jukebox Jury, Poet’s Word and Walk In The Park, alongside the likes of Cracksman, Golden Horn and Nathaniel.

Highlights include a Jukebox Jury colt out of Grade 1 winner Brandy Love, a Golden Horn half-brother to Burrows Saint and a Walk In The Park half-brother to Grade 1 performer Nube Negra.

Goffs UK Managing Director Tim Kent commented: “This year’s catalogue will offer some outstanding NH stock and for those looking for the cream of the British NH foal crop - this is not to be missed.

“The Showcase is also now the UK’s sole outlet for NH mares and foals as the new December date means this sale has combined with the former January Sale, thus providing a single, pre-Christmas outlet for the category.

“The Showcase will also mark the end of an era as we bid farewell to the ever-popular Little Lodge Farm and their 16-lot dispersal will offer some outstanding stock, which includes mares and foals from their famous Marello family.”
