Juddmonte returns to Goffs

JUDDMONTE will offer a draft of quality fillies at Goffs for the first time in 20 years, as part of the venue’s November Breeding Stock Sale.

The announcement follows the creation of the Chicquita Sessions, a select session limited to a maximum of 25 lots.

Goffs have begun to announce the highlights, including Falling Petals, carrying a Night Of Thunder sibling to dual Group 1 winner Saffron Beach.

The best foal out of the Raven’s Pass mare fetched 3,600,000gns after retiring from racing, and her subsequent yearlings have been sold by Ballylinch Stud for up to €1,650,000 €750,000 and €500,000 at Goffs.

Baroda Stud will consign another top-flight performer in Flirting Bridge, herself a dual Goffs graduate and beaten just half a length in the EP Taylor Stakes.

The Camelot half-sister to Tattersalls Gold Cup victor Helvic Dream will be offered in foal to No Nay Never.

The Castlebridge Consignment will present Navassa Island, a listed winner and twice group-placed half-sister to Cheveley Park Stakes heroine Lezoo. Joining her will be listed winner Detailed, carrying a Starman sibling to a group performer, and three-time stakes winner Goldana, in foal to Delacroix.

Arqana offers Frankel blueblood

A FRANKEL half-sister to Group 1 winners Sealiway and Sunway will be offered at the Arqana Vente d’Élevage, which takes place from December 5th to 8th.

Haras de Colleville will consign the filly bred on similar lines to her Galiway (Galileo) brothers, out of the stakes-winning Kendargent mare Kensea.

A full catalogue for the sale will be published on October 19th.
