WITH immaculate timing, No Half Measures won last Saturday’s July Cup, just days before the catalogue for the Goffs Premier Yearling Sale at Doncaster was published, writes Mark Costello.
No Half Measures was bought for just £34,000 at this sale two years ago and there is a relation of hers in this year’s sale, which takes place on Wednesday and Thursday, August 27th and 28th.
There are 409 yearlings in the catalogue, almost 15% fewer than last year’s 479, and all lots are eligible for the £500,000 Harry’s Half Million by Goffs, a six-furlong race at York’s Ebor meeting in 2026.
The catalogue includes nine horses by Blue Point, 13 by Havana Grey and 14 by Mehmas.
Other sires to feature include A’Ali, Acclamation, Australia, Bayside Boy, Blackbeard, Churchill, Cotai Glory, Dark Angel, Dubawi Legend, Harry Angel, Hello Youmzain, Invincible Spirit, Kameko, Kodiac, Lope Y Fernandez, Lucky Vega, Perfect Power, Showcasing, Sioux Nation, St Marks Basilica, Starman, State Of Rest, Supremacy, Wootton Bassett and Zarak.
Goffs UK managing director Tim Kent said: “We have been travelling around the world to promote this sale and we will continue to do so in the build-up to the event.”
