THE stud fee for Daryz has been set at €50,000 for 2027. The dual Arc winner will stand at Gilltown Stud alongside his own sire, Sea The Stars, whose fee remains at €300,000.
On Monday afternoon the Aga Khan Studs team released their covering fees for next year, headed by Daryz who will stand at "an introductory fee of €50,000."
Sea The Stars enjoyed another exceptional season in 2026, with four Group 1 winners capped by the exploits of Daryz, alongside Aventure, Johanna Walsh and Maltese Cross. He also achieved a career-best number of two-year-old stakes winners, with four to date including group race winners Alpha and Wall Street and Group 1-placed Quest For Stars.
Sea The Stars currently holds second place in the leading European sires' lists, behind Night Of Thunder and ahead of Frankel and Wootton Bassett. He will stand at the unchanged fee of €300,000 in 2027.
Erevann, a son of Dubawi and triple Group 1 heroine Ervedya, has relocated to Gilltown Stud following three seasons covering full books of mares at Haras de Bonneval. The Group 2 winning miler’s first yearlings brought up to €215,000 in the sales ring, with 50 sold for an average of over five times his stud fee. For his debut Irish season, Erevann will remain at €8,000 and will have his first runners next year.
Siyouni added to his tally of classic winners in 2026 in the shape of Preis der Diana winner Soreanga. This season also saw him surpass the landmark of 100 career stakes winners, and he ended the season as a top five sire by percentage of stakes winners to runners.
His latest wave of talent includes juvenile stakes scorers Algebre, Gymbaazy, Vignelli and Zakkan, while his yearlings continued to prove popular in the sales ring, where he was responsible for two of the 10 seven-figure yearlings sold at the Arqana August Sale. He achieved a 2026 yearling average of over €275,000 across the European sales.
Siyouni will stand at a reduced fee of €110,000 in 2027.
Zarak remains at €80,000. In 2026, his representatives included the progressive Group 2 winner Varandir, Group 3 winner and classic-placed James J Braddock and multiple stakes winners Flatten The Curve, Stingray and Zakopane. A promising group of two-year-olds included several blacktype performers including Zarak Pasha, recently second to Wall Street in the Group 3 Eyrefield Stakes, the pair pulling six and a half lengths clear of their rivals.
Champion three-year-old Vadeni, who completed an exceptional Group 1 double in the Prix du Jockey Club and Eclipse Stakes at three, will have his first runners next year. At the sales this year, his first yearlings made up to 400,000gns, averaging almost €60,000 for 37 sold. Vadeni will remain at €15,000 in 2027.
Rayif and Samangan will join the team at Haras de Bonneval for 2027.
A Group race-winning and Group 1-placed juvenile, Rayif enhanced his reputation at three by becoming the first horse in 25 years to complete the Poule d’Essai des Poulains–Prix Jacques Le Marois double. This specialist miler was last seen finishing third, recording the fastest closing sectionals, in the Queen Elizabeth II Stakes at Ascot. He will commence his stallion career at a fee of €20,000.
Samangan is the fastest and most precocious colt produced by the Aga Khan Studs since Siyouni. A son of Blue Point out of an Oasis Dream mare, he excelled at an early age as a dual group race winner over six furlongs at two, before adding the six-and-a-half-furlong Prix Maurice de Gheest to his tally at three. He will stand at a debut fee of €10,000.
