THE Breeze-Up Sale at Ascot is conducted by Brightwells, who have been running the Ascot Sales since 2000 and also stage the very successful Cheltenham NH Sales.

Last year’s Ascot Breeze-Up Sale proved a great success, as it has produced 14 winners of 19 races from 24 horses sold, including The Wow Signal, who cost £50,000 and won the Group 1 Prix Morny at Deauville and the Group 2 Coventry Stakes at Royal Ascot, and Bronze Marquette, successful in the Listed St Hugh’s Stakes at Newbury.

Brightwells has already sent out a catalogue of 54 lots for this year’s sale, to be held on Wednesday, April 1st. The sale takes place in the sales arena in the racing stables, across the road from Ascot Racecourse, and will start at 3pm. The horses will have breezed on the racecourse at 10.30am. Approximately two-thirds of the entries are being offered by Irish vendors.
