QUALITY horses in training and many winning point-to-pointers are the main features of the Cheltenham November National Hunt Sale to be conducted next Friday by Brightwells, the Leominster auctioneers who have been running the Ascot Sales since 2000.

Including some still unknown wildcard entries, Brightwells will have a catalogue of about 50 lots for their Cheltenham November Auction, to be held on Friday, November 14th, at about 5pm, after racing. The breeze-ups will be on the racecourse from 8.30am on the day of the sale.

The sale takes place in the new Brightwells Arena close to the grandstand on Cheltenham racecourse. Entries were still being accepted when this preview went to press, but details of the wildcards may be found on the web at www.brightwells.com a few days before the sale.

The November Sale has had an outstanding strike rate of winning and placed horses, with top-class performers such as Lord Windermere, who won the Grade 1 Cheltenham Gold Cup and the Grade 1 RSA Chase at the last two Cheltenham Festivals.
