ONCE again Irish breeders have given excellent support to the Mixed Thoroughbred Sale, to be held by auctioneers Michael Donohoe & Sons at the Sales Complex at Goresbridge in Co Kilkenny on Friday, October 28th, with operations starting at 1.00pm.
Among the 78 entries in the catalogue are 19 yearlings and 15 foals, also a few broodmares, as well as a good number of attractive stores, mostly by National Hunt stallions including Court Cave, Getaway and Robin des Pres. The sires of the yearlings include Big Bad Bob, Canford Cliffs, Dawn Approach, Frozen Power, Lope De Vega and Society Rock.
