THE Autumn Yearling Sale will this year be conducted at Kill by Goffs on Monday and Tuesday, 21st and 22nd October, two weeks earlier than last year, starting at 10am on both days. It was previously known as the Open Yearling Sale. There will also be 139 Horses in Training offered on the afternoon of 22nd October.

Goffs were delighted with the trade at their recent Orby and Sportsman’s Sales and for the Autumn Sale they have assembled an interesting catalogue containing the large total of 455 well-bred yearlings.

Stallions whose yearlings are represented include BungleInthejungle, Canford Cliffs, Casamento, Footstepsinthesand, Kodiac, Lawman, No Nay Never, Poet’s Voice, Ruler Of The World, Sir Prancealot, and Teofilo.

Graduates from the Open Yearling Sale include Margot Did, who cost trainer Mick Halford only €16,000 and went on to win the Group 1 Nunthorpe Stakes at York.
