TEAGASC will be holding five information evenings over the next two months concentrating on conformation and athleticism assessment of breeding stock.

The objective is to help breeders and producers objectively assess their stock.

Captain David O’Brien is the guest speaker at the first evening on Tuesday, September 8th at OBG Stables, Athlone, Co Westmeath. Tiernan Gill, Ballina, Co Mayo, will host the Thursday, September 10th evening while Clem McMahon of Hilton View Stud, Scotshouse, Co Monaghan, will host October 13th evening. On Thursday, October 15th, it’s the turn of Jack and Edward Doyle of Naas, Co Kildare while Greg Broderick of Ballypatrick Stables, Thurles, Co Tipperary, will host the Tuesday, October 27th evening. Titled “Conformation and Athleticism Assessment Evenings”, all events will run from 7-9pm with pre-booking essential at a cost of €20 per person.
