IN a new move this year, horses entered for the Hunter Show and Go Sale will be sold by auction on Tuesday, September 20th. They will be shown beforehand over the same course and afterwards, the auction will take place in a marquee with Kilkenny’s George Candler conducting the sale.
All horses will be sold with a veterinary certificate. Once again, there is considerable interest in the event from overseas including people from Britain, Holland, Germany and France as well as all over Ireland.
“There have been a lot of enquiries from people with horses for the Hunter Show and Go. For the first time, people are seeing it as the place to sell their hunters. There will be veterinary surgeons and a transport company at the sale and the inward buyer program will be available,” said a TIHA spokesperson.

Entry for selection days is €20 to be paid on the day. Entry for each horse selected for the TIHA Hunter Show and Go is €100.
