DETAILS have been released of upcoming important RDS qualifying dates for the young event horses and Connemara performance classes over the next five weeks.

Qualifiers for young event horses and Connemara and Irish Draught performance classes will get underway with the young event horses in Scarteen, Co Limerick, on Thursday, May 26th.

  • Scarteen, Knocklong, Co Limerick, Thursday, May 26th
  • Forth Mountain, Barntown, Co Wexford , Wednesday, June 8th
  • Rincoola, Granard, Co Longford, Wednesday, June 15th
  • Tullymurry, Downpatrick, Co Down, Wednesday, June 22nd

    • Online entry for the young event horse qualifiers can be accessed via the Young Event Horse Series website www.youngeventhorseseries.com.

    Entries must be submitted online by 5pm on the Wednesday preceding each qualifier, e.g. Wednesday, June 1st entry deadline for Forth Mountain qualifier on June 8th.

    • Entries for the Connemara Performance Hunter and Performance Irish Draught qualifiers must reach the RDS Equestrian Department by email, fax or post by the Monday preceding each qualifier, e.g. Monday, May 23rd entry deadline for Scarteen qualifier on May 28th.
