RAVENSDALE Lodge near Dundalk, Co Louth, has come on the market for lease following owner Dolores Connolly’s decision to step back from the business.

The centre has been a weekly show venue since opening in 1999 and has held numerous show jumping Grand Prix classes, as well as RDS qualifiers and everything from eventing to dressage.

“The potential is just wasted at the moment,” Connolly told The Irish Field when explaining why she was stepping away.

The circa 30 acre facility boosts a 65m x 40m indoor arena with a wax fibre and sand surface and a seating area. Adjacent is the 60m x 40m outdoor sand arena and two purpose built grass arenas with warm-up areas.

While it would be great to continue running shows, Connolly said that is not a necessity. Connolly reported that the facility is in perfect condition and enquiries have already begun.
