IT was a successful day for the team from Harthill Stud when their stallion Ramiro B and his son Cushlas Reviro met at the Competition Stallions Showcase.

Ramiro B scooped up another award for siring the winning Futurity Foal in 2017 as well as being ranked number four on the WBSFH sire rankings for eventing stallions this year.

Owner of Harthill Stud, Nina Barbour, said: “We had so much interest in Ramiro B throughout the day and his seven-year-old son, Cushlas Reviro who coped really well show jumping in front of the crowds. Ramiro B remains a huge part of Harthill Stud and is responsible for so many of the success stories and youngsters we, and our clients have bred.”

“Cushlas Reviro is out of a Hermes de Reve mare and I am very much enjoying jumping and producing him. He was campaigned successfully last year by Waterford’s Anthony Condon achieving consistent results in six-year-old 1.25m - 1.30m classes.”

The show which was held at Addington Manor Equestrian Centre was a great opportunity for mare owners and the public to see stallions and allowed them the chance to decide if they would suit their respective mares.

Barbour, is also the president of the Equerry Bolesworth International Horse Show, (June 13th-17th) and there is a special early bird ticket offer with savings of 40% until March 31st. The five-day show combines top level dressage and show jumping with water sports on the lake and great shopping.
