THERE have been a few changes among personnel at the Irish Pony Club with Area 7 representative Elaine Lait elected chairman of the board of directors, taking over from Harold McGahern who remains on the board.

Pat Tompkins has stood down from the executive committee and his position as vice chairman to Barbara Micks has been filled by Kate Harvey while, after many years in the role, Frank Whelan has retired as secretary to the games committee. Eilidh Hyland is doubling up as secretary/treasurer.

Tara Warren, administration assistant at the IPC, has written a lengthy report from the recent training day for Branch officials which is available to read on the website. Other equestrian groups might find the report of interest to them also. There is good news for riders in the Midlands with the Offaly Branch being relaunched this year.
