HSI mares championship

WEXFORD EC will today (Saturday) host the inaugural Horse Sport Ireland mares show jumping championships.

With a total of €15,000 on offer, some 23 qualified combinations are listed in today’s startlist at the venue.

The aim of this championship is to identify, evaluate and reward owners of mares that are capable of performing at the highest level in international show jumping and are suitable for producing progeny that would be competitive at the highest level in International showjumping.

There will be €9,000 in the prize fund as well as generous breeders’ prizes.

Spicing up lessons

WITH strong interest in an approved training day for instructors at Tipperary EC, Thurles, on Tuesday, November 10th, places are limited so book now to avoid disappointment.

Irish Horse Board AGM

The AGM of the Irish Horse Society will be held on Tuesday, November 3rd at the Kilmore Hotel, Cavan, at 7pm. The HSI Breeders’ Awards will take place after the IHB Co-op annual general meeting.
