TEAGASC is hosting its ‘Let’s Talk Equine’ free webinar live at 8.30pm on Tuesday, May 4th. Teagasc equine specialist Wendy Conlon will interviews Kate Jarvey and Austin O’Connor of Monymusk Stud and Attington Sport Horses.

Mullingar Sale notice

MULLINGAR Equestrian Centre is hosting its next Performance Horse and Pony Sale on June 19th next. On Sunday, May 30th, Mullingar is hosting a Video Day to give vendors the chance to have professional photographs and video footage of their horse/pony taken over a course of fences.

Declan Fagan urged vendors to come along. “With the huge growth taking place in online trade, good quality video and photography are proving invaluable in getting buyer interest and top prices at the auction sales,” he said.

Carrabeg Stud sire

AIRC activities return

THE Association of Irish Riding Clubs (AIRC) welcomed the resumption of training activities. Permitted activities include instructor-led group lessons (restricted to a maximum of two households in a group) and training class events, held with no placings, prizes or rosettes.

Members may only take part in training activities within 20 kms of their home if crossing county boundaries. From May 10th, inter-county travel is allowed.
