Farm Partnerships

MINISTER for Agriculture, Food and the Marine, Michael Creed this week confirmed the number of established Registered Farm Partnerships has reached 3,000. This follows the registration of a further 343 partnerships this year ahead of the Basic Payment Application deadline of May 15th. The Minister said: “I am pleased that interest in the farm partnership model has continued to grow, and 3,000 Registered Farm Partnerships are currently registered with my Department.”

MLHR receives £1,000

THE My Lovely Horse Rescue has won a £1,000 Movement for Good award thanks to nominations from the public. MLHR is one of the winners in Ecclesiastical’s Movement for Good awards, which is giving £1m to charities this summer. Deborah and Martina Kenny, co-founders of MLHR said: “We would like to thank everyone who nominated MLHR. Our rescue and welfare work reaches every corner of Ireland with an amazing team of volunteers giving so much of their time and expertise.”
