YRA funding

THE Young Riders Academy have been in touch to say the YRA and Rolex provided the funding for Jack Dodd’s YRA training, the young Co Mayo rider was profiled in last week’s issue.

Mariafederica Pacces, communications manager of the Young Riders Academy said: “It was a great interview and the Young Riders Academy. Thank you very much. I just would like to point out that the support Jack (and many other riders as Michal Duffy, Jonathan Gordon and Bertram Allen) received was possible as members of Young Riders Academy family, and when Jack mentions “they”, he refers to YRA board and Rolex, not the FEI.”

The young Riders Academy program has been developed by Athenaeum – a non-profit association founded by a group of professionals with a passion for horses – under the patronage of the European Equestrian Federation and with the cooperation of the International Jumping Riders Club. Rolex, the world’s leading Swiss watch brand, has joined from the start as the project’s main sponsor for a multi-year contract.
