Change in Balmoral qualifying dates

BALMORAL Show has announced date changes for the Under 10 championship qualifying dates. The first qualifier will now take place on Sunday, March 11th at Connell Hill Stud, followed by Portmore Equestrian (March 31st), Mullingar Equestrian Centre (April 7th) and the Meadows Equestrian Centre (April 14th). The 150th Balmoral Show, in partnership with Ulster Bank, will return to Balmoral Park from Wednesday, May 16th until Saturday, May 19th 2018.

IHWT launch online course

THE Irish Horse Welfare Trust (IHWT) launched its new online horse care and welfare course at yesterday’s ITBA Expo. The course, which has been developed in association with RACE and Horse Racing Ireland, comprises eight modules and is aimed at young people wishing to progress to their career working with horses.
