ISPCA legacys

THE ISPCA is appealing to people to consider leaving a legacy in their final Will to the charity to enable them care for their animals when they are unable to. ISPCA and MADRA recently worked in collaboration to rescue two collie dogs, found living in a property in which the owner of the animals had been taken into care the previous year.

ISPCA Chief Inspector Conor Dowling said: “Nobody wants to imagine themselves in a position where they are unable to care for their pets, but not having a plan in place can lead to situations like this one.”

With the assistance of BrayVet who treated the dogs for skin conditions, the dogs named Bob and Bess, are now up for rehoming as a pair. (Contact Marina at MADRA at info@madra.ie or telephone 091 584274).

The ISPCA’s Home Forever Programme allows members of the public make provisions for the ISPCA to take care of their pets should they suddenly pass away, become incapacitated, or move into residential care.
