CAVAN Equestrian Centre and the Clarke family are celebrating their 25th annual International Horse Show next week from Wednesday to Sunday, November 6th-10th next.

One of Ireland’s premier showjumping events, Cavan’s International Horse Show has a packed schedule with some 34 national competitions and six international competitions.

The first international event of next weekend is the Theraplate Welcome Speed Stakes which commences at 4pm on Friday, November 8th, and is the first of the live streaming events of the show.

Friday night’s feature event is the International Event Number 2 Jump-Off, kindly sponsored by Gain Equine Nutrition and will commence at 7pm.

Saturday’s feature events commence with the Amateur Autumn Series Final at 1pm followed by International Competition No 3 Farnham Arms Hotel Jump-Off at 4pm and the International Competition No 4 is the Cavan County Council Table A Speed at 7pm.

This will be followed by the greatly anticipated Kingsland Puissance which is sure to be a lot of fun – this class thrilled the huge crowds last year with a Cavan record attempt of 2.20m.

Next Sunday, November 10th, is all about the finals in the national events competitions commencing with the Four-Year-Old Final with the International Competition No 5 Abbey Upholstery Power & Speed at 2pm, Six and Seven-Year-Old Final and the final event of the show the International Grand Prix commencing at 7pm.
