Baxter making speedy recover after freak fall

FOLLOWING an accident during the SJI Pony Premier final weekend at Necarne Castle almost three weeks’ ago, the show jumping community will be delighted to hear the pony rider Jessica Baxter is making a speedy recovery at the Royal Belfast Hospital For Sick Children.

Jessica was involved in a freak fall from her pony at the venue and her family have praised the first aid staff at Necarne for their excellent care as they waited for the air ambulance to arrive and transfer Jessica to hospital.

The family said they were most grateful for the messages of support and well wishes for Jessica from the equestrian community and indeed those outside of it. They wished to thank those who came in Jessica’s aid and especially the air ambulance and the hospital staff who have taken such great care of her since.
