EDDIE Moloney had a convincing win in Monday morning’s Castleforbes Stud 1.25m Silver Tour final.

Riding his own Belgian-bred nine-year-old mare Jessy Van De Heide, Moloney left no room for doubt when stopping the clock at 34.98, a full second and a half ahead of closest rival runner-up Paul Beecher and Asti 71 in 36.48.

Making sure that some of the honours stayed on home ground were Chloe (Caricello) and Robyn Fagan (Afram B) occupied third and fourth places respectively.

A total of 37 combinations lined out for the class with 10 making it through to the jump-off. Just five riders managed to keep a clean sheet to fill the top five places.

Tori Dunn and Victoria Z finished sixth as the fastest four faulter, while Harriet Ella Cooper and Lenamore Gideon were fifth.

Meanwhile, the 1.35 Gold Tour final went to Tholm Keane aboard the Irish-bred Future Storm.

Forty seven combinations lined out for the final and just six made it through to timed decider. Of the six, just two riders left all the fences up to occupy first and second place.

Keane headed proceedings with a double clear in a time of 38.48, while just behind him in second was Neal Fearon and Stateside Farm’s Stallion Cohiba VDL in 38.84.

Liam O’Meara and Curraiguegrange Jack Take Flight were the fastest four-faulters to take third place, while just behind them in fourth were Frank Curran and Oliver Twister.
