Madam,
I READ in your newspaper recently about the sale of Going Global, what a super star he is, a credit to all involved with him. However, you stated that Going Global was the only horse in history to jump back to back double clears in the Aga Khan Trophy. This is not true!
My father Frank Kernan’s horse Condy, was a member of the three winning Aga Khan teams in 1977, 1978 and 1979. Condy jumped a double clear in all three of those Aga Khans. Two of those wins were won in a jump-off, where Condy was also clear, so in essence Condy jumped eight clear rounds in three consecutive Aga Khans. Now that is a record !
Yours etc,
