France, who finished the first round with zero faults, added just four faults in the second round to take second place.
The Netherlands team finished on a total of 24 faults for fifth place, while Sweden accumulated 28 faults for sixth.
Britain had an unhappy day out, recording 33 faults in all, while the Spanish team had a total of 37 faults.
The Irish team recorded 12 faults in the first round, behind France, The Netherlands and Switzerland, all on a zero tally, and Belgium and Sweden on eight faults apiece.
While some of the other nations fell apart in the second round, the Irish team held it together to add just four more faults and climb the table to equal third at the end.
