Trading Aces

Bartle for Britain?
BRITISH-born German eventing national team coach Chris Bartle revealed he has applied for the job as high performance manager for the British team following the retirement of Yogi Breisner.
Breisner, who has been at the helm of British eventing since 1999, announced earlier this year that he would step down from the position after this year’s Rio Olympics. Bartle is seen as a strong contender for the British job following his hugely successful reign in Germany, where along with Hans Melzer, he guided the team to a team silver and individual gold at this year’s Olympics.
