Cameron Hanley got the ball rolling last Thursday week when steering Antello Z to finish second in a 1.50m speed class when clear in 58.30 seconds. Belgian rider Gregory Wathelet won on Papillon Z in 56.18, while Alex Duffy slotted into ninth on Living The Dream in 64.63.

In last Saturday’s 1.45m jump-off, Bertram Allen finished third on Wrangler II with a double clear in 37.00. Dutch rider Gert Jan Bruggink won on Cash Junior in 35.32. Other Irish among the top-10 were Cameron Hanley (Caretina De Joter) in sixth and Alex Duffy (WCE Cruco) in seventh.

Duffy had also partnered Living The Dream to finish fifth in the previous day’s 1.50m jump-off when double clear in 28.36. Albert Voorn, representing the host nation on Tobalio, won in 27.12.

Last Sunday, Allen was third in the small tour final, a 1.40m jump-off, when clear in 28.24 on Zenzation. Swedish rider Douglas Lindelow (Balahe) won in 26.31.

Duffy dominated the six and seven-year-old classes, steering Libelle J to win last Sunday’s 1.30m final. Owned by Carl and Cameron Hanley, the seven-year-old Lavall I mare was double clear in 31.50 to secure the win over the Dutch combination of Leopold van Asten and VDL Groep C Tara Z in 31.64.

In last Thursday’s young horse class, Duffy was also successful on the Holsteiner mare Libelle J when clear all the way in 34.23. Allen was third on Barnike in 35.26, while the pair was divided by Dutch rider Aniek Diks (Loraine) in 35.07.

Allen and Barnike were fourth in Friday’s 1.30m speed class with a clear in 61.35. Dutchman Robert Vos won on Cupido in 58.26.
