The Gain Irish Pony (U16) Dressage squad has been named for the FEI Pony European Championships which will be held at Bishop Burton College in England from August 9th to 12th 2018.

The GAIN Irish squad is as follows:

  • Finn Curran with Blokland's Hoeve's Amor
  • Leah Murphy with RFS Socrates
  • Robyn O'Neill with Belsasser
  • Sadhbh O'Toole with Schermeer s Hof Arendsoog
  • Non-Travelling reserve: Tara Hayes with Thorneyside Kestrel

    • Irish High Performance pony manager Anne Marie Dunphy commented on her selection: “The team consists of two athletes who are making their European Championship debut and two who have previous experience at this level who will bring support and balance to the squad. I am very impressed with the hard work and commitment shown by all the athletes, their families and support teams who engaged with the selection process. Each have demonstrated the ability to improve performances on demand throughout the season and I am very much looking forward to bringing this team to Bishop Burton.”
