One of the top performing Connemara ponies on the European circuit, Silver Shadow has competed at national and international level, jumping at Moorselle in Belgium and Aachen in Germany.

Bred by Michael Lenihan in Claregalway, Silver Shadow is by Coonisle Cashel, out of Poetic Moonlight, by Poetic Justice.

Galway veterinary surgeon Philip McManus sold the stallion to Italy five years ago. Silver Shadow was then bought in 2012 by Swedish Connemara breeder Camille Kolgjini.

However, McManus and Liam Diamond of Renvyle have been instrumental in the stallion’s return to Ireland in time for the 2014 breeding season.

Silver Shadow will stand at McManus’ yard in Rockwood, Claregalway.
