CLONMEL Show celebrates its 150th anniversary on July 5th, the very first show having been held in back in 1865.
To celebrate this auspicious occasion, the show has a packed programme across all its divisions.
In the equine section the highlight will be the €1,000 prize for the champion ridden hunter of the show.
There are 55 horse and pony classes listed in the schedule including ISA qualifiers and the Coolmore thoroughbred broodmare and foal classes with €1,500 in prizes on offer. There are two racehorse to riding horse classes scheduled, as well as classes for miniature horses and Shetland ponies
With four jumping arenas in use, the feature class will be the €2,500 Connolly’s Red Mills Munster Grand Prix.
There will also be a four-year-old performance class, for which pre-entry is required on or before Thursday, July 2nd.
