EAMONN ‘Shilo’ Byrne from The Naul, North County Dublin, sadly passed away last week.
A man who always sported a big welcoming smile was a friend of many of the hunt followers of the Ward Union Staghounds as he followed the pack on a Honda 50 for over 60 seasons (pictured by Noel Mullins).
Despite the current restrictions, a number of his friends turned out in the village for his funeral, especially the masters from the Ward Union, Fingal Harriers and the Louth Hounds.
Pat Coyle, huntsman of the Ward Union, blew ‘Going Home’ on the hunting horn at his graveside.
