CAVAN EC has teamed up with Horse Sport Ireland to host the 2016 National Stallion Show on Thursday, March 31st in Latt, Co Cavan, starting at 7pm.

Each year spectators are treated to some top class breeding stallions attending this event and the viewing numbers are generally enormous. As with previous years, the aim is to make this event both an informative and pleasurable experience for stallion owners, trade stands and spectators. Information on each stallion will be included in the souvenir catalogue such as credentials, pedigree, performance, progeny, etc.

Trade stands are a very important part of the show and have become even more essential over the years as it may not always be the most convenient for a stallion owner to present the stallion on the night for many different reasons.

Therefore the stands offer a great alternative for more in-depth information on the stallion with the owner/stud being available to answer questions, show videos and provide glossy brochures. The area will also include trade stands with all types of other equine information such as the different associations as well as studs, feeds, bedding, etc.

“We have a fantastic venue to display your registered stallion and trade stands and we aim to bring a selection of the very best breeding stallions who are approved by Horse Sport Ireland.

So if you are just exploring what is the most suitable stallion for your needs or you want to see what is new to the market and along with a good viewing gallery, Snaffles bar and Boomerangs restaurant the Stallion Show at Cavan Equestrian Centre will be a fantastic equine event,” said a Cavan spokesperson.

Stallion entry forms will be posted from Horse Sport Ireland shortly and if you have any queries regarding the Stallion Parade, call Cavan EC on 049 4332017 or email info@cavanequestrian.com.
