Moloney ‘Cruising’ to victory
KILKENNY’s Emily Moloney and Cruisings Miss Daisy led the victory lap in the 148cm division when they delivered the winning clear in 26.81 seconds. Connaught’s Stephen Gibbons and Booms Choice took the runner-up spot when they answered all the questions in 26.85, while in third was Maisie Adams and Forans Daylight, clear in 27.56.
In the 138cm, Charlotte McCracken (U) and Tynan Rocket took the win when posting a clear in 27.02 secs. Leinster’s Jack Galway and Clonagh Boy were second after they clocked 27.62, ahead of Sophia Bingham (U) and All Being Well in 27.75.
Munster rider James Walsh and Max emerged victorious in the 128cm under 10 division when they delivered a clear in 24.09. Little separated the placings with Max Galway and Knocka Snoopy stopping the clock in 24.46 for second, ahead of Charlotte Foley (M) and Castlequarter Katie Bee clear in 24.66.
Ulster’s Cliodhna McEvoy left nothing to spare as she claimed victory in the 128cm division crossing the line clear in 21.36 aboard Tynnan Tuttle Pip. Harry Rush and Tower View Lady also kept the poles in place in 21.55 for second. Juliana Nelson returned to the line-up taking third with Knockemnagh Rocco, clear in 22.48, while in fourth was Caitlin Kelly and Sparkling Miss Leglands, clear in 22.91.
Helen Walsh and Knockash Lady Bird took fifth when they kept the poles in place in 22.95 for fifth. Elizabeth McCracken added to her family’s haul as she took sixth place with Sparkling Ruby May when they delivered a clear in 23.65 secs.
