TAKING place immediately after the Devenish Bet Showjumping Live speed, the RDS Puissance qualifier provided more great entertainment for the large crowds that had gathered at the ringside.

A total of eight riders, Jason Higgins (Hadine Van’t Zorgvliet), Oisin Cooke (Adios V/D Renvillehoeve), Edward Butler (DK Dreamaker), Wesley Ryan (Larthago), Sven Hadley (Bellscross Cruisedown), Daniel Coyle (Fanadwest Rebel), Fergal Nesbitt (Tim’s Way) and Liam O’ Meara (Cisero) battled it out for the €2,000 euro on offer in the Pegus-sponsored class.

Starting at 1.55m, Oisin Cooke was the first rider to fault over the red wall.

On the third round over 1.90m, Fergal Nesbitt faulted, while in the fourth round standing at 1.95m, Sven Hadley was knocked out of the running.

Following five intensive rounds of jumping, the prize was shared between three riders: Jason Higgins (Hadine Van’t Zorgvliet), Daniel Coyle (Fanadwest Rebel) and Liam O’Meara (Cisero).
