MICHAEL Pender recorded another win in the 148cms Starfinder class when he crossed the line with nothing to add in 30.20 with Myshall May. Olivia Roulston was over two seconds behind (32.54) with Sparkling Castlewarren Gold, while Sarah Costello and Hello Nobel Lady slotted into third (33.34).

Conan Wright and JJ Lucky Star took fourth (34.30), ahead of Sean Phelan and Boom Shakalala (36.71). Emer Kavanagh was back in the ribbons, claiming sixth with Crossgales Boy (39.94).

Local rider John Green took the 148cms 1.00m championship when he was the fastest of the jump-off with Keelings Phoenix in 30.92 seconds. Second place went to Ciara Browne with Cois Bride Julie (31.89), ahead of Kieran O’Brien and Kildysart Princess (32.26).

Following their win in the 148cms 90cms championship, the combination of Olivia Roulston riding Drumdoit V Tec returned to take the honours in the 148cms 1m National Pony League Final, galloping home with nothing to add in 24.73 seconds.

Oisin Aylward and Coppenagh Oliver Twist took second (33.88), while Shane Foley collected another rosette aboard Clairna Lass (35.66) for third.

Sean Foley didn’t hang about in the 148cms 1.10cms final as he took the red rosette aboard Vintage Montana with a clear in 33.64 seconds. Second place was filled by Clodagh Sweeney and Knockboy Paddy, (34.88) ahead of Tyrone Flanagan and Talyas Diamond Link (35.40)

A clear in 35.15 with Shercock Rose ensured Patrick Hickey secured the 148cms 1.20m championship, while Kate Houlihan and Castlebaldwin Golden Arrow took second place (37.54). Daniel Carroll took third with Knockeroghery Prince (40.40) and fourth with Mallmore Bobby (41.18).

In the 148cms 1.35 final James Kenny was the only rider to deliver a double clear. Riding Bertie Brown he crossed the line in 43.31 to take the honours. Fastest of the four-faulters was Cormac Foley and Another Destiny (42.61), ahead of Cora Sharkey and Bertas Clover (48.35).
