WINNER of the Best Embroyos.com four-year-old championship at Mullingar International Horse Show on Saturday was the Alan Wheeler-owned Cashless. Ridden by Paul Lynch, the chesnut mare was awarded a score of 77.33 by judges Gerry Flynn and Alain Storme.

The mare is by Ard VDL Douglas and out of the VDL Arkansas mare Anabee Arkansas. Speaking afterwards, owner and breeder Alan Wheeler said: “We are delighted to win in a very competitive class. She did well as a three-year-old; she won the RDS loose jumping qualifier in Warrington and went on to place third in Dublin. She also placed in the HSI filly classes in Tubberbride as a three year-old.

“The plan is to produce her and keep her as a broodmare. She has all the right credentials, the dam jumped up to 1.30m. The plan now will be to try and qualify for the Dublin Horse Show.”
